Product Information

Rear Duct

Developed on the basis of a request from a well-known rental vehicle company at the Nürburgring, Speed Engineering offers a brake cooling kit for the rear axle of all F2x and F3x non-M models. 

When used on the track, the M-Sport and M-Performance brakes in particular have large temperature differences between the inner and outer side, which leads to uneven wear of the pads. Removing the anchor plate only helps to a limited extent. The Speed Engineering air duct picks up the air under the camber handlebars with a funnel and guides it directly to the brake disc hub. Similar to the Speed Engineering front axle brake cooling kit, a turbine effect is used which enormously increases the efficiency compared to solutions that only blow on the friction ring.

Important Information

Disassembly of the anchor plate is required.

Suitable for F20 1 Series Hatch, F22 2 Series Coupe, F23 2 Series Convertible, F30 3 Series Sedan, F31 3 Series Touring, F34 3 Series Gran Turismo, F32 4 Series Coupe, F33 4 Series Convertible and F36 4 Series Gran Coupe models (incl. M135i, M140i, M235i, M240i, 335i, 340i, 435i and 440i).
